No huge surprise this week, and by my quick count this is Bruce/Caitlyn's fourth cover story this year. I had a moment of wondering why the big picture is of Bruce, who no longer exists, but I'm assuming it has to do with copyright. The only pictures of Caitlyn so far all belong to Vanity Fair and can't be used as the main cover "art." People obviously didn't want to use a current picture of Bruce so they went with a portrait of the athlete as a young man. The tiny headline says "Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, in 1976."
The Caitlyn reveal sucked up most of the oxygen in Kardashian/Jennerland. Without it Kimye baby #2 would probably have gotten at least a sidebar story.
The Bachelorette, aka the other Kaitlyn, (with a K) does get another sidebar story. What does she think about the Brokeback bachelors?
