Ben and Jen's divorce announcement must have come too late yesterday to be included in the new issue, which is possibly not a coincidence. Bristol gets a sidebar story and I'm wondering, did she (or Sarah or anyone else with actual information about the "BREAKUP & PREGNANCY") talk to the magazine, or will the story simply be a recap of what's already been reported? I'm also curious to see if any of the other tabloids have Bristol on their cover with some kind of "exclusive." If so, you can figure she got paid to spill the beans. She (and Levi) reportedly got a six-figure paycheck when they gave US Weekly the exclusive scoop about their engagement in July, 2010:
This time around the story's already out there, so if Bristol wants a big payday, and there are rumors that she does, she'll have to spill something that hasn't been reported yet, like the name of the father or the reason why the marriage was called off. So far, Mama Grizzly hasn't weighed in about her soon-to-be third grandchild either. Is it possible Sarah isn't happy with Bristol? Three broken engagements, two out-of-wedlock children... Not exactly the conservative family values Sarah claims to believe in and represent.
And what about the Medal of Honor winner? So far he is completely absent from this story, but if he is indeed the father, which is presumably the case, he has responsibilities regardless of how things stand between him and Bristol. On his Facebook page he describes himself as a "Public Figure" and he appears to want a career as a motivational speaker. Abandoning his child? Not exactly the conservative family values he claims to believe in and represent.
