The Guessing Game

Tuesday morning, update #3: I just thought of one more possibility. Miss North West's 4th birthday, which happened last week. People is usually pretty restrained about featuring the ongoing drama of Kardashianland, but a cute picture of North might rate a small sidebar headline.

Sunday afternoon, update #2:
Carla Bruni: A new album, says she never dated Donald Trump
Seven sailors: Died when a merchant vessel crashed into the USS Fitzgerald
Philando Castile: The man who shot him was acquitted
Stephen Furst: Played "Flounder" in Animal House, dead at 63

Sunday morning, update #1:
Beyonce and Jay Z: She gives birth to twins
Carly and Evan: Got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise last summer, got married yesterday in Mexico. A bright note in the middle of the BIP scandal/shut down.

Original post:
What will be on the cover of People magazine this week? My guesses:

Another Mass Shooting: Gunman shoots 4 people at a Congressional baseball game practice
Bill Cosby: His trial ends in a mistrial
Carrie Fisher: Information about what caused her death is released
The Murder By Texting Case: A guilty verdict
Kevin Durant: NBA Finals MVP (and ex-boyfriend of Bachelorette Rachel)
Naomi Watts: Her new (very strange) movie gets scathing reviews
Tom Cruise: His new movie, The Mummy, is also excoriated by critics
Otto Warmbier: The young man held by North Korea is released, currently in a possibly-irreversible coma (Politically incorrect comment from me: Would it really be so terrible if we bombed North Korea back to the stone age? What a wretchedly awful place.)
Nikos Giannopoulos: The Rhode Island Teacher of the Year trolled POTUS with LGBTQ accessories during an Oval office photo op:
