Dog Days Of Summer

On February 28, I sent out the following tweet, noting how cold it was in Chicago:

-12 at 6.15 a.m. I'm *really* hoping the last day of February is also the last day of sub-zero temperatures in Chicagoland. #Chiberia

I'm reminding myself of that today because today's supposed to be the hottest day of the year so far, complete with a Heat Advisory from the Nat'l Weather Service that goes into effect in about 5 minutes. We could hit 95 degrees, with humidity making it feel like 102 or higher. Yikes.

Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to change the filter on my air conditioner, just in case.
