Will Paul Ryan Run For President?

Back in August I wrote a post about what happens to unsuccessful candidates for POTUS and VPOTUS. I pointed out that politicians generally don't jump directly from the House to the White House. Now one of my favorite bloggers, Jonathan Bernstein, is in somewhat the same territory as he ponders whether or not 2012 Republican VP nominee Paul Ryan is a credible potential candidate for president in 2016. FWIW, Chris Cillizza at the Washington Post said a few weeks ago that he's hearing Ryan won't run, preferring to pursue leadership opportunities in the House of Representatives.
