Who knows? My assumption right now is that not even Hillary knows for sure. If, if, she decides not to run, who else is there on the Democratic side? If, if, Hill opts out all hell will break loose. It won't be pretty but it will be very entertaining.
Chris Cillizza at the Washington Post says there are currently four tiers of potential Dem candidates. Hill is the first, and if she runs, the only tier. If she doesn't run, there's a second tier (If she says no...) with VP Joe Biden and Maryland governor Martin O'Malley; a third tier (Not interested, but...) with NY gov Andrew Cuomo, NY senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Massachusetts gov Deval Patrick and Mass. senator Elizabeth Warren; and a fourth tier (Just not happening...) with NJ senator Cory Booker and Vermont senator Bernie Sanders (who?)
