Editors are important and the People.com site frequently appears to not have enough of them. Almost every story posted has some kind of typo or other. Mostly I just ignore them but this one I have to share, from a story quoting an Instagram post by Meghan Markle's wedding dress designer:
“I
watched from the church as they went by and stood next to Lady Diana’s brother
Earl Spencer,” she continued, referencing Early Charles Spencer who took over
the family title when his father died in 1992. “Quite an incredibly poignant
moment. (You can read the story here)
"Early" Charles Spencer? Really?
C'mon, People, get it together. I'll check later today to see if the typo gets fixed.
Saturday morning update: Nope, they never fixed it.
