Of all the possible stories I had on the Guessing Game list this week (read it here,) only Kate Gosselin and her upcoming reality show actually made it to the cover. That's depressing. The "Brad Pitt dating a professor?" story is so far under the radar there isn't even a teaser story at people.com. If one pops up later I'll link to it here.
Update: People has now posted a short article about Brad Pitt and the woman he might be dating. Her name is Neri Oxman and she's a professor of media arts and sciences at MIT. Read it here.
Update #2: In an article titled "Has Brad Pitt met his Amal Clooney?" People provides more details about Brad's possible new squeeze. Read it here. Note that Brad & Angie and George & Amal got married within a month of each other, in August/September 2014. Within two years, Brangelina was done, but as far as I can tell, at least for the moment, the Clooneys, now parents of twins, are doing great.
People has begun promoting what they're now calling the "Beautiful Issue," with this cute logo...
... and several teaser stories, which you can see here. The new cover, featuring the woman they've chosen to designate as this year's "Most Beautiful," will be posted a week from today.
