The Guessing Game

Wednesday morning update: See the new cover here.

Tuesday morning, update #2: The video I posted below is only a short snippet of Adam's interview with Mike Tirico. If I can find the whole thing I'll add it to this post.

Monday morning update: I mentioned the Olympians below but after watching the team figure skating event, I'm seeing an "a star is born" aura around skater Adam Rippon. First, he skated so well that there's been some fussing that his score was inappropriately low. Second, in his interview with host Mike Tirico he was charming and funny, so much so that video of it has now gone viral. (ESPN had some fun with words, saying Rippon displayed "authenticity without obfuscation, declaration instead of equivocation." Read it here.) Finally, as a gay man, Rippon had the guts to say that he had zero interest in meeting with our homophobic vice president. I bet Adam shows up on the cover of People, if not this week then soon. Here's the Tirico interview:
Original post:
What will be on the cover of People this week? My guesses:

Hope Hicks, Rob Porter, the two ex-wives, the ex-girlfriend and/or David Sorensen: Men behaving badly at the White House
Skiffington Holderness: Current husband of Porter's first wife. He's a tiny part of the story, but with a name like Skiffington Holderness he has to be on the list
Omarosa: Says she'd never vote again for Trump again, not in a million years
John Perry Barlow: Died February 7. Grateful Dead lyricist, internet pioneer, friend to JFK Jr. (he was on the island for the wedding,) I'm surprised his death hasn't gotten more attention
Olympians: Nathan Chen, Shaun White, Bradie Tennell, Red Gerard, the Shib Sibs, etc. Some familiar stars and some new names are doing their sporty thing in PyeongChang
Elton John: Cancels May concerts to attend the royal wedding. Who else is invited, the Obamas? Fergie? Ivanka?
Rob Delaney: His 2-year-old son died of brain cancer
Ginger Zee: Her 2nd son was born Friday
Kim Cattrall and/or Sarah Jessica Parker: A nasty feud
Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir: They were the B team of skating announcers in Sochi but their hilarious commentary and affectionate chemistry got them so much attention (and spectacular ratings) that they've been promoted to prime time

Note that after the new cover is posted, correct guesses will be highlighted in green. Why? Because I can.
