Looking forward to tomorrow’s State of the Uniom. pic.twitter.com/xdBUU3Pvo5— Marco Rubio (@marcorubio) January 29, 2018
Marco is showing us a close-up of an official ticket to the State of the Union speech. In the interest of fairness, I'll include the following, from Politico:
The Trump White House, which has had its share
of spelling and grammatical errors in press releases and administration
announcements, isn’t to blame in this case. The sergeant-at-arms is responsible
for printing the tickets, according to another source who confirmed the
authenticity of the tickets.
Okay, this one isn't the White House's fault, but it sure fits into the "they're sloppy, they're unprofessional and they really don't care about proofreading" narrative, and I reserve the right to experience a little snarky blogger schadenfreude. See examples of dumb White House typos here, here and here.
In other SOTU news, the White House says Melania will be in attendance.
