Thursday morning, update #2: A provocative comment from CBS reporter Bob Schieffer:

Update #1: In a hastily-scheduled news conference this morning, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was asked if he had called the president a moron. His answer: "I'm not going to deal with petty stuff like that." Which isn't the same thing as "No."

His visit to PR, as described by Stephen Collinson at CNN, was not, to put it mildly, a success:
Meeting local officials, Trump made a jarring joke about the island putting the federal budget "a little out of whack." He noted that the preliminary death toll of 16 on the island did not measure up to that of a "real catastrophe" like Hurricane Katrina in 2005. He also boasted about his administration's response to Hurricane Harvey in Texas and touted his achievement in cutting the cost of the F-35 fighter jet, issues that are hardly relevant to Puerto Rico's plight.
And now he's headed to Las Vegas...
