Yes, I'm shocked. Chip and Joanna Gaines, again, exactly one year after their first People cover, and no sign of the Real Housewives of Trump Tower.
This could be due to the fact that Time magazine, published by the same company that publishes People, has an excerpt from Ivana's new book, which I saw yesterday afternoon. Or it could be what I've been saying for a few months now -- People is ignoring Melania and all the Trump women, at least on the cover. After Ivana and Melania started spitting at each other I thought their deliciously juicy catfight would at least get a sidebar headline. Nope.
Kim Cattrall and the Weinstein sexual harassment scandal were on my Guessing Game list.

Two of the other stories on this cover have also changed a lot in a year. Janet Jackson had her baby, but she also separated from her husband. And of course, the extremely unpleasant man in the bottom right corner was elected president 27 days after this cover was posted.
