Wednesday afternoon, update #1: My hunch was right. The final version of this cover includes topline stories about Gabrielle Union, the death of Tom Petty and Khloe Kardashian's pregnancy. If I can find a cut-and-paste version I'll post it here.

Issue dated October 16, 2017: The Mass Shooting In Las Vegas
People posted the new cover early, although this may not be the final version. To my eye the spacing above the logo looks off, with too much empty black space. I'm guessing a couple of topline headlines will be added before the issue is printed.

This was the second Brangelina divorce cover in two weeks; Kim Kardashian's robbery in Paris was also big news. Bach fans know that Ben and Lauren ended their relationship a few months after this issue was published.
