Last week's issue features the Property Brothers, the first HGTV cover of the year. (Bleh.) There's almost no suspense about this week's cover. Barring an alien invasion or Donald Trump abruptly resigning and decamping to Russia, the Harry and Meghan story will be front and center. As for sidebar/topline headlines, just a few guesses:
Jillian Michaels and Lizzo: Who gets to comment on women's weight/body size?
Justin Bieber: Health Issues
Buck Henry: Died
Brad Pitt and Bradley Cooper: Brad says Bradley helped him get sober
Oscars: As I'm writing on Monday morning the Oscar nominations have just been announced, including a Best Supporting Actor nod for Pitt and no recognition for Jennifer Lopez. In addition, the acting categories are almost all white, with just one nomination for a person of color (Cynthia Erivo for Harriett,) and no nominations for a woman in the Best Director category. Lots to talk about there.

Update on Tuesday morning. People posts the new cover a day early and, no surprise, Harry and Meghan are the big news. Any guesses for how many times the couple appears on the cover in 2020? Right now I'd guess 8. Last year Meghan was still all smiles, with "Big plans & baby news!"
