I admit, this made me cry. I know I'll age myself by admitting that John Denver was one of my favorite singers when I was in high school and college, and I've always loved this song.
Did you grow up listening to John Denver? I did.
Update on July 6: It turns out the man who co-wrote Country Roads with John Denver was also the writer of another 70s hit, "Afternoon Delight." Very cool.
